Post Number 39, I Have Now Started On Another Learning Curve,
I take two pictures of each shot,
one in JPEG and one in RAW, in all of the previous posts I have used the JPEG image and worked with that, but from this post onward I will be using the RAW image, so the results will be different until I get the hang of using RAW,
for this I used the 019 Fine Art Process mask,
and my favourite 036 Antique,
and I thought I would included a totally wild image, if you want to see how to achieve it have a look here,
notice how the RAW image has a totally different look to it than the JPEG image, this is straight out of the camera,
a slight change of view point,
006 High Structure Smooth,
036 Antique,
totally wild,
and from the camera,
walking a bit closer and as has happened so many times before, I just could not get the sky as I wanted it,
015 Full Dynamic Harsh,
036 Antique,
totally wild,
from the camera,
and lastly for this post the sky looking a tad more as I like it,
000 Neutral,
036 Antique,
totally wild,
from the camera, the camera I use is a Lumix DMC GX8 with 12-60mm lens, I
had the camera converted to take infrared pictures at Protech Photographic in
Uckfield, Sussex, UK. who were more than very helpful, and no I am not on
commission, I will add pictures that I have taken in and around Pattaya,
Thailand, every few days, please feel free to comment or if you have any
questions please ask away, but I am not an expert, just someone that has
discovered the fascination of infrared photography.
