Post Number 73,
after my evening meal I went to the 'man attic',
and started playing with a few infrared photographs, one of Urquhart Castle in the far distance, the red photograph as it comes out of the camera in a format known as RW2,
the same image after running it through a colour swapping application,
I then played with the image in Viveza, in the NIK Collection, and above is the result,
the same sequence,
for the Ferris wheel in Paris,
it looked fine on the upstairs monitor, but looking on the laptop it could have done with a bit more blue in the sky,
next to Kew Gardens,
the same procedure, the great news about infrared photography and shooting in RAW is the amount of detail it captures that you can then play with, as in the photograph above, looking at the waterfall and a dark featureless stream,
but a few tweaks and look at the detail that was just waiting to be seen.
